How To Work With A Recruiter
Partners in Technology is not just about finding people jobs; we are a client-driven firm committed to placing the right people with the right companies. Our goal is to save you time and money by providing you with the best candidates available and facilitating the placement of those candidates. It is important to us that our clients value our services and partner with us throughout the hiring process.

Communication is the key…
An in-depth discussion with hiring managers and human resource professionals is critical to ensuring our efforts are concentrated in the right areas. Open and direct communication with the hiring managers will provide us a much better picture of the ideal candidate and ensure a timely interview process.

Develop a Performance Profile…
Based on the job description and our discussions with both the Hiring Manager and Human Resources Manager, we will develop a Performance Profile. This is a screening tool designed to elicit detailed examples of a candidate’s experience in key areas. We will then ask you to approve the Performance Profile. Our goal is to create a screening tool that is so accurate that you will want to interview any candidate we send who meets or exceeds all of the requirements on the Performance Profile.

Make hiring this person a priority…
Great candidates are not available indefinitely. It is critically important that the hiring process keep momentum. Top talent can lose interest in an opportunity that is taking too long to pan out, or they may be turned off by what they perceive as indecisiveness. It is vital that reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates and providing us with immediate feedback is a priority for the hiring team.

Be ready to make a decision…
Top talent goes fast. Studies disagree on just how fast, but the number seems to be between 3 days and 3 weeks. If your goal is to find the top performers in your industry, you must be able to respond quickly. A long process can be perceived by top candidates as indecisiveness and meanwhile your current employees begin to resent doing double duty.

Help us help you…
We do our best to generate interest in your company among candidates; however, the human resources professionals and hiring managers that meet our candidates play a vital role in selling the opportunity to potential employees. We will share our candidates’ expectations and criteria for accepting a position with your company, but we will expect that everyone on your interviewing team understands how to sell not only the company, but also the particular position you are trying to fill.
