Our Process: What to Expect

So, you’ve been contacted by one of our recruiters, what happens next?

Interview with us….
Your recruiter will take you through our internal interview process. During this interview we will learn more about you and what you’re looking for in your career.

Performance Profile…
Your recruiter may ask you to complete a “Performance Profile”. This is a set of questions developed by our recruiters in coordination with the employing company. It is designed to elicit detailed examples of your experience in key areas related to the position. When filling out the Performance Profile please provide specific examples wherever possible.

References…
While you’re completing the Performance Profile, your recruiter will conduct the first of at least three professional references. When providing references to your recruiter please keep in mind those individuals who can speak about your skills, accomplishments, leadership abilities, etc. will be most beneficial. It’s always best to give your references a “heads up” that your recruiter will be calling.

Presentation and Interviews…
Your recruiter will present your information to the employing company and ideally set a first interview for you. Before your interview you will be prepared by your recruiter on what to expect in the interview.

Immediately following your interview, you should call your recruiter to debrief and discuss next steps. The recruiter will obtain feedback from the employing company, and share that feedback immediately.

Moving Forward…
As the process continues you can expect to hear from your recruiter frequently, as we schedule additional interviews, prepare you for each interview and debrief afterward. During this time your recruiter will likely want to speak with your spouse about relocation (if applicable), and will be talking with you constantly about your interest level in an effort to obtain answers to all your questions before an offer is extended.

Securing the Offer…
When it comes time for the offer, you can expect your recruiter to work with the employing company to make sure they extend the best offer possible. Your recruiter, having obtained your criteria for an acceptable offer, will do their very best to ensure you receive just that!

Changing Careers…
Once you’ve accepted the offer, your recruiter will coach you through the resignation process, talk with you about the dangers of accepting a counteroffer, and help you make a smooth transition.

Once you’ve started your new position, the partnership with your recruiter continues as we can help make sure you are comfortable in your new role and ensure your new company is giving you the training and support you need. We’ll stay in touch over time and continue to support you throughout your career.
